DARK SKY BURIAL Release Compilation Album V.I.T.R.I.O.L.

‘Life for anyone can be a struggle at times’ explains Shane Embury, Napalm Death’s longest serving member and musician talking about his experimental electronic project and labour of love Dark Sky Burial.

An honored veteran of heavy music, Shane, with his bands Napalm Death, Brujeria and Tronos among others feature Embury’s notable grinding bass signature which became synonymous with the term “Grindcore”.

Dark Sky Burial is more than just another project, intent on delivering a different, multi-layered experience shaped through personal tragedies and a quest for truth. Embury believes DSB ignited in him meaning and urge to discover just who he truly is.

Born in the early days of the pandemic, Dark Sky Burial serves as an essential musical outlet for the creative artist who was struggling with himself and his perception of the world around him. The band is happy to present the project’s first compilation release – V.I.T.R.I.O.L..

Dark Sky Burial has now become a major focus for Shane, who decided to take the project live and away from solely being a studio effort with the intention to open spontaneous sonic possibilities. V.I.T.R.I.O.L. stands as a strong testament and introduction to followers old and new of what Embury has done with Dark Sky Burial so far, and offers a hint at what’s coming.
