Hailing from the Carolinas, post-hardcore band Excide announce their signing to SharpTone Records with the release of the dual single Humdinger, out now.
The band harness hardcore spirit, grunge-style hooks, and unpredictable heaviness in a hard-hitting and hypnotic hybrid of their own. The two songs on Humdinger – Dis(re)member and All Down But 9 are vibrant and visceral, swirling through melody-driven vocals and chunky riffs.
Dis(re)member gets a video treatment, directed and produced by Tyler Norris (of Foreign Hands), depicting a ‘90s style performance from the band spliced with a story told through a shadow puppet.
