Before their Australian Tour in support of Marilyn Manson in 2009, the band Hatchet Dawn had an interesting developmental process that has gone largely unheard; until now. A little gem of unknown Hatchet Dawn history, their ‘breakthrough’ demo tracks, Jokes Over and 30 Pieces of Silver are now available for listening at all music services!
Jokes Over/30 Pieces of Silver single captures a raw, aggressive jam room feel in the studio performance and excitement of a time before the band had even played a live show; it was these initial tracks that generated a lot of hype about Hatchet Dawn, and was the first major step in giving them the substantial platform they enjoyed from then on.
