After nearly a decade of relentless touring that’s seen them crush stages from Western Sydney dive bars to European festival pits, Justice For The Damned return with Stay Relentless, a brutal, unflinching slab of metalcore designed for one thing — to get bodies moving and necks snapping.
This third studio effort isn’t here to reinvent the wheel, it’s here to smash the wheel into your teeth. Justice have doubled down on everything they’re known for, bone crushing breakdowns, savage riffs, and the sort of pit-ready grooves that make you consider getting health insurance before the first track finishes.
From the opening stomp of Retribution In Blood to the crushing closer Leave You Behind, there’s no filler. Just eleven tracks of precision engineered violence. Singles Built To Be Broken and the title track Stay Relentless already proved the band can merge razor sharp songwriting with pit friendly chaos.
Clawing Wounds, featuring Taylor Barber of Left To Suffer, is pure carnage — a sledgehammer to the sternum with just enough melody to keep it stuck in your head after the ringing in your ears stops.
The production is massive, the riffs bite hard, and the vocals swing from venom spitting rage to full throttle roar without losing clarity. Tracks like Cry Wolf and Eyes Of A Killer feel tailor made for sweaty, beer-soaked mosh floors, while Shattered and Ghosts Of Tomorrow bring a brooding intensity that hints at the band’s depth beyond sheer brutality.
Justice For The Damned set out to write songs that will be fun to play live for years… mission bloody accomplished. This is an album built for the pit, built for the stage, and built to leave you battered, bruised, and begging for more.
